Нийслэлийн байгаль орчны газраас энэ онд нийт 145 га талбайг дээрх зорилгоор орон нутгийн тусгай хамгаалалтад авах төсөл боловсруулсныг Нийслэлийн Агаар, орчны бохирдлын асуудал хариуцсан төслүүдийн удирдагч З.Төмөртөмөө танилцуулсан юм.
“Минж нутагшуулах, үржүүлэх төслийн нэгж” ОНӨҮГ-ыг Баянзүрх дүүргийн 20 дугаар хороо, Гачууртын төвөөс 7 км орчим газарт Туул голын экосистемийг байгалийн аясаар нэмэгдүүлэх, сайжруулах зорилгоор 2012 онд байгуулсан. Харин 2019 оноос Нийслэлийн байгаль орчны газарт харьяалагдах болсон юм.
Минж нь усны төвшин багассан үед голын эрэгт суваг татах, далан барих зэргээр орчноо намагжуулах, орчны чийгшлийг нэмэгдүүлэхэд гол үүрэгтэй мэрэгч амьтан. 2012 оноос хойш нийт 57 бодгаль минжийг Туул голын эх болон түүний цутгал болох Заан, Тэрэлж голуудад нутагшуулаад байгаа.
